Baz was born in Lincolnshire, England.
His artistic talents were recognised and encouraged from an early age, and by his teens he was receiving commissions for paintings and drawings.

He has worked in the Arts for over 40 years, which has allowed him to travel widely. As well as his drawings and paintings, he has designed costumes and sets for many theatre productions.

He is influenced and inspired by the Old Masters, as well as by his surroundings and nature. He now works from his garden studio in Bedfordshire in the East of England.
